Our society was registered as “Post & Telegraph Employees credit Co-operative Societies Ltd” in 05-01-1951 vide Registered No: 188DR1950-51 Bangalore and also (Recognised by the Director General Of Post and Telegraph New delhi )Consequsent upon the Bifurcation of Post & Telegraphs by the ministry of communications & renaming of Department of Telecom (D.O.T) as B.S.N.L. Accordingly Our society name was changed to karanataka Telecom Department Employees Co-operative Society Ltd (CREDIT & HOUSING) vide order UBC-3UBA15199-2000 dated 10-12-99 by the registrar of Co-opeative societies in karanataka.
